Description
The Temperate House in Kew is a breathtaking display of the work of Kew and partners around the world to rescue and conserve rare or nearly extinct plants in the wild.  It is the world's largest Victorian glasshouse and home to 1,500 species of plants from Africa, Australasia and the Americas.  The spiral staircase is a key feature of this magnificent structure and it has continued to thrill the senses as it did mine on a summer's visit to Kew.
