Sandra  has been working as an illustrator and "live-scribe" since graduating in Theatre Design, from Central St Martins 25 years ago.

Her work is usually based on human and plant interactions, real and imagined, and is usually humorous or at least trying to lift the spirits in some way.

“In the last few years I’ve been working as a live graphic artist, recording live events with hand drawn words and images.” “In the process it can also help a group gain valuable insights. So far the furthest I've travelled to do this was Athens, but I am based in the leafy London borough of Bromley.”

“I screenprint my own prints. I like smile-in-the-mind imagery, thoughtful, playful, eye-catching.”

“Storytelling is a way of communicating which can also be really powerful, especially when it involves individual struggles of overcoming obstacles - something we can all relate to, especially at the moment!”

Screenprints:

Sandra’s screenprints originate from drawings from the real world and the imaginary one. The screenprints are usually made in small editions of around 20.
