Ros Pritchard
Ros Pritchard is a printmaker whose work is rooted in a deep appreciation for the natural world. Drawing inspiration from coastal landscapes, plant life, shifting light and shadows, she explores themes of movement, memory, and the emotional resonance of place. Her practice is grounded in drawing and photography, which form the basis for a range of printmaking techniques. While linocuts are the core of her work, Ros also uses photopolymer etching, screen-printing, and mixed methods to create images that evoke calm, wonder, and a sense of connection with nature.

In her photopolymer prints especially, she is drawn to the idea of movement—capturing flora in a way that gives it life and meaning beyond the typical. These works reflect on the moments in a life, instances of brief, vivid energy and inevitable decay which punctuate a life span. A fascination with fleeting moments and quiet transformation runs through her practice.
