The Macaroni penguin is a type of penguin which is found from the Sub-antartic to the Antartic Peninsula. Their names comes from the distinctive bright yellow crest of feathers on their heads. They resemble the feathers that featured on hats worn by men in the eighteenth century who were called macaronis.
