After having written on art and played at the edges of it for years, I found my niche when I undertook a part-time printmaking course at Morley College. There I studied etching, collograph and lino printing, eventually deciding that lino printing suited my style.

 

I now work from a studio in my home. Much of my inspiration comes from the countryside, taking photographs when out walking, then interpreting these. The colours are broken down to a minimum, the lines emphasised, with details and texture finally added.
